The end of summer is a bittersweet time of year. The warmest days of the year are winding down, but there's good news on the horizon: autumn is approaching. As we start daydreaming about the changing of fall leaves and say goodbye to the hot summer sun, I am always looking forward to wearing my cozy sweaters and cardigans again. With the change of the season, our designers are stocking our US retailers with new goods from the Fall/Winter 2019 collections.
Designed to appeal to the fashionable and environmentally conscious, Elemente Clemente's team chooses fabrics carefully, always with the material's sustainability in mind as well as important factors like fairtrade and animal welfare.

Elemente Clemente's Fall/Winter 2019 collection features gorgeous pullovers, cardigans, and dusters as well as comfy skirts and classic pants. We would like to take a closer look at the brand's winter fabrics. Designed to appeal to the fashionable and environmentally conscious; Elemente Clemente's team chooses fabrics carefully, always with the material's sustainability in mind as well as important factors like fair trade.

Organic Boiled Wool
Boiled wool is a fabulous material for the colder season - it is warming, breathable and naturally water repellent. Elemente Clemente's high-quality wool is processed in Italy and is exclusively sourced from sheep which were treated and sheared with a mulesing-free method.

Organic Cotton
Elemente Clemente's organic cotton is GOTS-certificated and comes from controlled, biological farming in Izmir/Turkey or Uganda. The brand's cotton supplier in Uganda is funding many projects that support small farmers.

Recycled Nylon
Elemente Clemente's nylon is made of recycled materials, like used fishnets. Not only is this helping to save our oceans, and animals like dolphins, turtles, and whales as they often get caught in those nets, but finding a purpose for used materials is also saving energy and raw materials.

Plant dyes
Whenever possible, Elemente Clemente chooses dyes that are plant based. Among others, plants that are used for this process are Bougainvillea Glabra Choisy, Calendula Arvensis, Hypericum Triquetrifolium Turra or Scabiosa Atropurpurea.
