Alice Jane, the visionary force behind the independent label A-Jane, crafts fashion where avant-garde aesthetics resonate with the profound depth and structure of experimental music. Her journey to design was an unconventional composition, resulting in a uniquely compelling creative signature. Growing up immersed in the tactile world of garment construction alongside her pattern-maker mother, fabric and form were Alice's foundational language. Yet, her initial creative pursuit led her down a different sonic path. Drawn to the frontiers of sound, she dedicated herself to studying Neue Musik (New Music) in Germany, delving deep into Sound Engineering, Film Music, and Composition. This rigorous exploration of experimental soundscapes – their complex structures, challenging dissonances, intricate textures, and raw emotional depths – became her primary artistic foundation.
